Art Dubai: 2019

Elmarsa Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of selected works by Georges Albert Cyr (1880-1964) and Pierre Boucherle (1894-1988), at Art Dubai Modern from 19 to 23 March, 2019 in their booth F6. The exhibition draws attention to the work of two French key figures of modern art during the interwar period and beyond. This show puts forward an exceptional selection of post-cubist paintings by Cyr from the 1950s during his time in Lebanon alongside major landscape and still life paintings by Boucherle from his time in Tunisia, while shedding light on the vibrant artistic and cultural influences of modernism that helped shape the art scenes in Beirut and Tunis.
